Research Progress of Anti-tumor and Anti-metastasis Effects of Cordycepin

Cancer is the number one killer of death,cordycepin can inhibit the proliferation and migration of tumor cell,and has the advantages of small side effects and high drug resistance. In recent years,the use of modern computer technology to find its anti-tumor mechanism and potential biological targets will open up a new horizons for the exploration of cordycepin’s anti-tumor mechanism and greatly promote the application of cordycepin in anti-tumor.Cordycepin not only induces apoptosis by regulating tumor-related signaling pathways,causes cycle arrest,targeted intervention of tumor stem cells(CSCs)inhibits tumor growth,and also inhibits tumor metastasis by regulating the tumor microenvironment. The contents of this review will provide a reference that is for better research on the antitumor mechanism of cordycepin in later period.
