Abstract
Objective:To identify the fungus strain 16072314 isolated from fruiting body of Ramariabotrytis and study its secondary metabolites.Method:The strain 16072314 was identified by morphological observation and ITS sequence analysis. Many technologies such as silica gel column chromatography, Sephadex LH-20 columns, preparative TLC and semipreparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) were used to separate and purify the chemical constituents of solid medium from strain 16072314, and their structures were identified by physiochemical properties and spectral data.Result:The strain 16072314 belonged to Pestalotiopsis cocculi. Eight compounds were isolated from the solid medium of this strain and elucidated as 7-hydroxycoumarin, ferulic acid, ergosterol, p-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 4-hydroxyphenethyl alcohol, oleanic acid, beta-sitosterol, ergosterol-5, 8-peroxide.Conclusion:Eight compounds were first isolated from Pestalotiopsis cocculi, and ferulic acid 2 was first isolated from the Pestalotiopsis. The result would lay the foundation for utilization and development of Pestalotiopsis.
