Analysis of nutritional components from Lophatherum gracile Brongn

  • Objective:To analyze the nutritional components of Lophatherum gracile Brongn tea. Methods:Lophatherum gracile Brongn tea was made after the processing technology of tea. And then the contents of total flavonoids, crude protein, total sugar, Vitamins, amino acids and mineral elements were detected according to related national standard and methods. Results:The content of total flavonoids, crude protein, total sugar and crude fiber were 5.76%, 36.1%, 11.7% and 17.9% respectively. The tea contained all 8 kinds of essential amino acids (the content of glutamic acid was 1.168g/100g) , which accounted for 44.5%;and that was also rich in Vitamin C (123.87mg/100g) , and mineral elements (especially high in Mg and Mn, the contents of Mg and Mn were 402. 87, 118. 87μg/g respectively) , and it also contained Se. Conclusion:Lophatherum gracile Brongn tea had high nutritional value, which suggested it had good using prospects in medicine and food industry.
