Abstract: Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,Gansu Province,and Qinghai Province are China’s major producers of matrimony vine. Despite the fact that the Ning xia Hui Autonomous Region serves as the largest producer,Qinghai Province has stepped up efforts and become the second largest cultivating region of matrimony vine thanks to its unique geographical advantages. Qinghai has become an up-and-coming youngstar in matrimony vine industry,but it is not complete. The major reason is that only few varieties are deeply processed. In addition,a complete process chain is not established so the utility rate is quite low. In this case,this paper will first give a general introduction of the development of matrimony vine industry in Qinghai Province. Then based on the existing research results,the deep processing method of matrimony vine is proposed,in an attempt to improve the utility rate of matrimony vine and the overall economic profits in the industry.
