Abstract:
In order to better detect the blending of commercially available camellia oil, this study established a method for the determination of other low-value vegetable oils in camellia oil based on gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS). The fatty acid composition of commercially available camellia oil, sesame oil, peanut oil and corn oil was detected by GC-MS,and the fatty acid compositions were compared to establish a method for identifying the blending of these vegetable oils in camellia oil and the prediction and verification of adulteration ratio. The results showed that the fatty acid composition of the above several vegetable oils was detected by GC-MS. The main fatty acids were palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid. The oleic acid content of camellia oil was as high as 78.8058%. The experiment detected that the proportion of low-value oil in the camellia oil was 10%,20%,30%,45%,and the correlation coefficient established according to the specific oleic acid content was greater than 0.98.Therefore,according to the method, the method could be used for the detection of a low-value vegetable oil in the camellia oil,and the minimum detection incorporation amount was 10%,and the method was quick and convenient, and the accuracy of the method was higher than 97%,which was more sensitive.
