Research Progress on Bioactive Substances of Ecklonia cava

  • 摘要: 褐藻因含有丰富的生物活性物质及其具有的功能作用而成为科学家研究的热点。苷苔是一种广泛分布在韩国和日本海岸的褐藻,可以作为食物成分、动物饲料、肥料和药物,其含有丰富的褐藻多酚、岩藻聚糖硫酸酯、褐藻酸盐和色素等活性物质。论文综述了从苷苔中分离出的活性物质的功能活性,重点概括了褐藻多酚、岩藻聚糖硫酸酯的抗炎、抗氧化、抗糖尿病、抗凝血和抗肿瘤等活性,阐述了近年来苷苔活性物质的应用研究进展及现状,并展望了苷苔产业的发展,为苷苔活性物质进一步研究开发提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Brown seaweed is known as it contains an abundance of great potential bioactive compounds in the area of pharmaceuticals, food, and biomedical industries. Ecklonia cava is a brown seaweed widely distributed on the coasts of Korea and Japan which can be used as food ingredient, animal feed, fertilizer, and medicine. Ecklonia cava contains a variety of compounds including polyphenol, fucoidans, carotenoids, and phlorotannins. The paper reviewed the functional activities of active substances isolated from Ecklonia cava, focusing on the anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidation, anti-diabetic, anti-coagulant and anti-tumor activities of polyphenols and fucoidan. The research summarized the progress of current status and application of most active substances, and the development of Ecklonia cava industry was prospected, which provides a reference for the further research and development of Ecklonia cava active substances.
