Abstract:
The
α-glucosidase and HepG2 cells were used to study the hypoglycemic activity of selenium polysaccharide from
Cyclocarya paliurus(Batal)Ijinskaja(Se-CPP)
in vitro. The hypoglycemic activity of Se-CPP was compared with
Cyclocarya paliurus(Batal)Ijinskaja polysaccharide(CPP),CPP+selenium yeast and CPP+sodium selenite. The results showed that appropriate dose of Se-CPP could effectively inhibite the activity of
α-glucosidase in a dose dependent and its 50% inhibitory concentration was 0.054 mg/mL,which was lower than acarbose,CPP,CPP+selenium yeast and CPP+sodium selenite. Furthermore, appropriate dose of Se-CPP could improve the glucose consumption of insulin resistance HepG2 cells and the effect was better than that of CPP,CPP+selenium yeast and CPP+sodium selenite(
p<0.05).
