Abstract:
Glycoprotein is any of a class of proteins which have a carbohydrate group attached to the polypeptide chain,composed of relatively small number of monosaccharide units and a compound consisting of two or more peptides linked through a variety of covalent forms,natural glycoprotein generally has special physiological activities,such as anti- oxidation,anti- tumor,enhance immunity.In the current plant glycoprotein research pro-gram,the research progress was reviewed. The prospect of plant glycoprotein was addressed,aimed to the comprehensive development of the edible plant glycoprotein.
