Abstract:
In order to find the best way to clarify the extract of Astragalus membranaceus. The paper had evaluated the efficiencies of three methods,including dilution,addition of Al Cl3 and PVP-K30,by comparing the turbidity,p H value,conductivity,antioxidant properties of the extract. The results showed that three methods could partly clarify the Astragalus extract,however the physicochemical properties of extract would be affected to a certain extent. The dilution could affect the p H,conductivity and antioxidant of Astragalus extract in a dose-dependent manner,but not to the turbidity. While the addition of Al Cl3 or PVP-K30 could in varying degrees affect the physicochemical properties of Astragalus extract. Dilution had little effect on the physicochemical properties of Astragalus extract,therefore,it was suitable for the production technology of traditional Chinese medicine cosmetics.
