Abstract:
The polysacchride was extracted from Dendrocalamus farinosus culms with hot water,and precipitated by ethanol. The polysacchride was composed of glucose,arabinose,xylose,galactose and mannose with the contents of 40.57%,21.88%,19.89%,17.5% and 0.15% respectively by high performance ion chromatography(HPIC). The average molecular weights(Mw) of the polysacchride was 16900 u and the polydispersity was 1.33.Infrared spectrogram showed that the polysacchride had the characteristic absorption peak of polysaccharides.1HNMR and13 CNMR indicated that its main chains were composed of β-pyranglycoside linkage.
