Abstract:
Response surface method was applied to optimize the 6'- O- caffeoylarbutin extraction conditions of Vaccinium dunalianum buds.Water bath was used to extract 6'- O- caffeoylarbutin from V.dunalianum buds in the present work. Four extraction parameters including water temperature,liquid- material ratio,extraction times and water- bath time were discussed. Based on the single factor investigations,the optimal 6'- O- caffeoylarbutin extraction conditions were obtained by central- composite design and response surface methodology.As a result,the optimum water bath extraction conditions of 6'-O-caffeoylarbutin were: 72 ℃ of water temperature,12∶1( m L / g)of liquid- material ratio,4 times of extraction number and 60 min of water- bath time. Under these conditions,the yield of 6'- O- caffeoylarbutin could reach to 19.63% that was in consistency with the theoretic value.It was feasible to use central- composite response surface method to optimize the water bath extraction of 6'- O- caffeoylarbutin from the buds of V.dunalianum.
