FoxO基因转录活性调控及其对肉品质的影响

Regulation of the FoxO transcriptional activity and the affection to meat quality

  • 摘要: FoxO是Fox(Forkhead Box)转录因子家族的一个亚族,是INS/IGF-1通路中关键的信号分子。FoxO1、FoxO3、FoxO4作为FoxO家族主要成员,通过多种方式调节骨骼肌的生长发育。FoxO转录因子调控靶基因的表达、细胞周期进程及程序化死亡,因此FoxO在成肌细胞增殖分化、肌纤维类型转化及脂肪沉积过程中发挥重要作用。本文综述了FoxO基因转录活性调节与骨骼肌发育的相关性,着重介绍FoxO与肉质相关基因的相互联系,以期为提高畜肉肉品质提供理论依据。 

     

    Abstract: FoxO is a subfamily of the Fox ( Forkhead Box) family of transcription factors, which is a key signal molecule in INS / IGF- 1 pathway. The main members of FoxO subfamily are FoxO1, FoxO3 and FoxO4, which regulate skeletal muscle development through various pathways. FoxO is a crucial regulatory factor during target gene expression, process of cell cycle and apoptosis, so FoxO plays an important role in myoblast proliferation and differentiation, the transformation of muscle fiber type, and fat deposition. In this paper, latest advances in correlation of skeletal muscle development and FoxO transcriptional activity were reviewed. The interrelation between FoxO and genes related to meat quality was highlighted, with the purpose of offering theoretic reference for improvement of meat quality.
