Abstract:
In order to effectively restrain post- harvest lignification and extend the shelf life of Pteridium aquilinum,Post- harvest Pteridium aquilinum was soaked in the solution of 25 mg / L and 50 mg / L 6- BA solution for 15 min; then stored under 13~ 15℃,RH 80% ~ 85% for 9d and the control( CK) was soaked in water and then as same as6- benzyl aminopurine( 6- BA) treatment. The enzyme activity of phenylalnine ammonialyase( PAL),peroxidase( POD),4- coumarate Co A ligase( 4- CL),Cinnamyl alcohol dehydrogenase( CAD),Catalase( CAT) and malondialdehyde( MDA) content, lignin content and protein content were determined. Results showed that enzyme activity of PAL,POD,4- CL,CAD treated by 6- BA was significantly lower than CK. Lignin content was ascending and protein content was descending during its storage period. Lignin and MDA content of 6- BA treatment was lower than CK.Protein content and enzyme activity of CAT was significantly higher than the control. In conclusion, the lignification process could be inhibited by 6- BA during storage periods.
