Abstract:
Four metal elements ( Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn) in python oil was determined by means of flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The chelated metal elements were separated and removed finally by using sequestering agents ( citric acid, ascorbic acid, potassium dihydrogen phosphate) .The purpose of the removal was to study the inhibition influence on auto-oxidation of the python oil and prolong the storage time of python oil and reduce the stench. The experiment results showed that the removal percentage of these four metal elements were as follows:Fe was 65.07%, Mn was 26.61%, Cu was 11.82%, Zn was 14.76%.The auto-oxidation of the python oil was inhibited effectively and the oxidation stability was improved through the removal of it.Finally the expected storage time of python oil was prolonged for 32
48 days at the temperature of 20℃.
