Abstract:
Contents of protein and amino acid composition four different parts of Ixeris Chinensis (Thunb.) Nakai (root, stem, leaf and flower) were determined separately by kjeldahl nitrogen determination methods and precolumn derivatization High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) by using 2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzen as derivative agent (CDNB) .The results showed that the method was simple, stable, high accuracy.The order of content of protein and amino acid for these four parts showed obviously: leaf > flower > stem > root, and taurine was found in the leaf and flower.The results provided the theoretical base for the development of different parts of function of Ixeris Sonchifolia.
