Abstract:
To optimize the extraction technique for saponins from Allium chinensis G.Don by supersonic wave, supersonic extracting time, and the ratio of sample to solvent, content of ethanol and supersonic extracting temperature were studied as the single factors. The best extraction method was found through the response surface method.Three levels of the factors (the ratio of sample to solvent, contentof ethanol and supersonic extracting temperature) were selected for the Box-Behnken factorial design to establish a quadric regression equation for describing the yield of saponins.By response surface analysis, the optimum extraction conditions were obtained as follows:content of ethanol 71%, extraction temperature 55℃ and the ratio of sample to solvent 1:16.Under such conditions the yield of total saponins could be up to 3.71%, which indicated that response surface analysis could be an effective method to optimize the extraction technology of the Allium chinensis G.Don saponins.
