Abstract:
ObjectiveTo explore a more easily-used method for determination of the sulfur dioxide in wine.MethodAccurately weighed a certain amount of wine, over C18 column separation to remove part of the nonpolar organic material then adding Na2 CO3 aqueous solution by membrane filtration, after injection with 9 mmol/L Na2 CO3 as eluent, ion chromatography determination of sulfur dioxide in wine.ResultsIt showed a good peak shape and good separation from other ions in solution.RSD was less than 5%, recovery between 93%~105%.ConclusionDetermination of sulfur dioxide in wine by ion chromatography method provides a way to establish national standards for the determination of sulfur dioxide in foods.
