Abstract

After the probiotic function of human milk oligosaccharides(HMOs)was illustrated,the synthetic methods had received more and more attention. The synthetic methods of HMOs were divided into chemical method and biological method in this review. Besides,the research progress,pros and cons of the methods were illustrated and evaluated. The insight into the synthetic methods would lay the foundation for the industrial production of HMOs.
