  • The heterotrophic fermentation of microalgae was studied since the late 1980s. Now,people have pay more and more attention to high-value products from marine microalgae using high density heterotrophic fermentation. This paper reviewd recent advances on some aspects of high density heterotrophic fermentation of marine microalgae,including advantages,modes,active products,influencing factors,some existing problems and the solving ways.
