Application of Electron Microscopy in the Study of Postharvest Preservation of Berries

  • Electron microscopy is the use of the information generated by the interaction between electrons and substances to carry out morphology observation, composition analysis and structure determination of various samples. It has been widely used in biological, material, food and other research fields. In recent years, in the research of postharvest berry storage, electron microscope has been gradually applied to observe the changes of the structure and cell morphology of berry tissue and cell surface pathogens during storage. In this paper, the development and application of electron microscope technology, especially in the research status of the changes of tissue structure during storage of postharvest berries are reviewed, and its application prospect was prospected, in order to be more widely used in the research of berry preservation.
