Preparation and Application Progress of Sulfonamides Molecular Imprinting Technology

  • Molecular imprinting technology (MIT) is a pretreatment technique which can specifically separate and enrich the analyte from the sample, reduce the interference of the complex matrix in the sample, and improve the detection accuracy of the instrument. It has been widely used in the food including meat, milk, and egg, etc. It is rather important to develop the novel detection method for sulfonamides which have been one of the most commonly detected veterinary drugs. This review focuses on the development of sulfonamides molecular imprinting technology in recent years, which includes the selection of new functional monomers, cross-linking agents and porogens, the optimization of surface molecular imprinting polymerization substrates and the transformation from traditional solid-phase extraction materials to rapid detection products. It expounds the advantages and the problems of MIT and provides the reference for the development of sulfonamides molecularly imprinted polymers.
