Research Progress on Extraction and Detection Methods of Taurine

  • Taurine is one of the important amino acids needed by human body and widespread presence in marine organisms. With the gradual deepening of natural taurine research,its application is more extensive,and the demand is increasing. Improvement and development of extraction technologies are the key to improve the extraction rate of natural taurine. And effective and accurate detection methods for taurine are gradually established and improved. This paper introduces the biological activity of taurine and its distribution in marine organisms,analyzes the extraction and detection methods of natural taurine emphatically,and predicts the research direction of natural taurine,and prospectes the development and combination of new extraction and detection technologies of natural taurine.
