Research Progress in the Application of Chromatography and Its Hyphenated Techniques in the Detection of Illegally Added Drugs in Health Foods

  • Based on the two major characteristics of functionality and safety,health food is favored by more and more people. In order to improve the efficacy of health food,it is common to illegally add related chemical drugs in its production process. It is strengthening the detection of illegally added drugs in health food that can effectively prevent the harm of illegally added drugs. Chromatography is the most effective method for separation and purification of complex components. It is widely used in qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemical components with suitable detection methods. This paper reviews the recent applicationts of thin layer chromatography,gas chromatography,high performance liquid chromatography and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography and their combination with ultraviolet,infrared,Raman and mass spectrometry in the detection of illegally added drugs in health food. And this paper carry out crresponding induction and analysis,providing a reference for the further development of illeyally added drugs dection technology in health food.
