Research Progress on Chemical Component of Eucommia Folium

  • There are many literatures on the chemical constituents of Eucommiae Folium at home and abroad. Eucommia Folium contains many chemical compotents,including lridoids,lignans,flavonoids,gutta-percha,phenylpropanoids,phenolic compounds,amino acids,polysaccharides,vitamins,fatty acids and other ingredients. The main components are rutin,hyperin,chlorogenic acid,eucommia gum,arachidin,quercetin,genipin,and kaempferol,etc. In order to provide reference for the future research and development of Eucommia ulmoides,the extraction and purification methods of the compounds of iridoids,lignans,flavonoids,eucommia,phenylpropanoids,polysaccharides,amino acids and vitamins in recent years are reviewed in this paper.
