Antioxidant Activities of Ganoderma lucidum Fruit Body and Spore Powder Polysaccharide in Vitro

  • Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide(GLP)and Ganoderma lucidum spore polysaccharide(GLSP)were separated and purified with DEAE-650 ion exchange resin. GLP-1 from GLP was eluted with water,while GLP-2 from GLP was eluted with 0.2 mol/L NaCl. GLSP-1 from GLSP was eluted with water,and GLSP-2 from GLSP was eluted with 0.2 mol/L NaCl. Then the four polysaccharides were tested for ABTS+ free radical scavenging ability,DPPH free radical scavenging ability,hydroxyl free radical scavenging ability and reducing power ability. The results showed that,antioxidant capacities of four purified polysaccharides were different. GLP-2 had the highest antioxidant activities,which were 98.09%,75.88%,81.55% and 0.728 respectively.
