Research Progress of Utilization of Waste Plant Fibers in Agricultural Products Process and Its Application in Hot Pressing Technology

  • There are a lot of wasted plant fiber resources in China of which the fiber utilization is low that caused a great pollution to the ecological environment. Therefore,the comprehensive utilization of plant fiber is a research hotspot in recent years. Compared with other processing technologies,the hot pressing plasticizing molding technology has good application prospects because of the advantage that is easy to operate,and add a small amount of additives which are green and environmentally friendly. In this paper,the characteristics of the plant fiber,the hot-pressing forming mechanism,the process conditions and application were reviewed. In addition,the advantages and problems of hot-pressing technology were analyzed and its application prospects were prospected.
