Research of Fatty Acid Deposition Mechanism in Adipose Tissue of Sunit Sheep

  • The different adipose tissue(subcutaneous fat, tail fat and kidney fat)of Sunit sheep with 12 months week age was used as the test object, and the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)and real time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)were used to research the contents of fatty acid and the mRNA expression of fat metabolism related gene, and the relationship between fat metabolism gene and fatty acid were also analyzed. The results showed that fatty acid in adipose tissue of Sunit sheep mainly included palmitic acid, stearic acid and oleic acid. The contents of stearic acid in kidney fat was significantly higher than that in tail fat(p<0.05),the ratio of oleic acid in tail fat was significantly higher than that in subcutaneous fat and kidney fat(p<0.05). The gene expression of FASN,SCD and LPL in kidney fat was significantly higher than that in subcutaneous fat and tail fat(p<0.05),the gene expression of CPT1 and ACC in subcutaneous fat was significantly higher than that in kidney fat(p<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that CLA was positively correlated with FADS1,LPL and SCD(p<0.05),C20:5 was positively correlated with FADS1 and LPL(p<0.05)and negatively correlated with ACC(p<0.05). In conclusion, regulating the expression of genes related to fat deposition had a significant effect on the direction and location of fatty acid deposition.
