Application Research Development of Electrochemical Biosensors in Detection of Aflatoxins

  • Aflatoxin has acute toxicity and strong carcinogenicity, which can easily contaminate various foods and agricultural products. Thus, it is significantly important to establish a quick and accurate analysis method for its monitoring and detecting. Electrochemical biosensor has been widely used in the detection of aflatoxin, owing to its advantages of easy operation, a low cost, a high sensitivity, a strong specificity and no need for complex treatment of the sample. This paper introduced the application and research progress of immunosensor, aptasensor, and enzyme sensor in detection of aflatoxin. What's more, the prospect of its application was also envisaged. This review could provide some new references for the development of a simple, fast and sensitive electrochemical sensor in future.
