Research Progress on Synthesis Methods and Characteristics of Selenium Polysaccharides

  • Selenium polysaccharides play an important role in drug development. However,the content of natural selenium polysaccharide is less and unstable,which limits the application of selenium polysaccharide. Therefore,synthetic selenium polysaccharides have received more and more attention. However,the synthesis methods of selenium polysaccharides still have their limitations and selenium polysaccharide safety research is in its infancy. Therefore,the synthetic evaluation of selenium polysaccharides and the construction of selenium polysaccharide safety evaluation system is a research focus in the future. In this paper,the research status of the synthesis methods and physiological characteristics of selenium polysaccharides are reviewed.
