Screening of Suitable UV-C Irradiation Dose at the Low Temperature Storage of Munage Grape

  • Xinjiang Munage grape was irradiated with CK control group and three different doses of 0.4, 1.2, 2 kJ/m2 UV-C, which was stored at -1℃.The effects of four treatments on postharvest storage qualities such as soluable solid content, titratable acidity, respiration intensity, decay rate, fruit dropping rate, good fruit rate of Munage grape were studied. The results showed that the 1.2 kJ/m2 UV-C interval (15 d) irradiation of Munage grape at the end of storage period maintained a low decay rate of 7.7%, a fruit dropping rate of 12.51% and good fruit rate of 86.6%, while maintaining a high soluable solid content and titratable acidity, 16.54% and 0.37%, having better fruit quality.
