Present situation and development prospects for application of rapid detection technology in aquatic product

  • In recent years, consumption of aquatic products gradually increased, and aquatic product safety incidents had attracted extensive attention due to the environmental pollution, drugs residues, abuse of chemical reagents and nature toxins, improper handling and storage and other factors. Rapid detection techniques were convenient, simple and efficient to meet the requirements of the detection of harmful substances in aquatic products. In this paper, the rapid detection methods for aquatic product safety including immunological methods, chemical colorimetry, biosensor method, molecular biology, biochip, ATP bioluminescence technology and so on were reviewed, and the prospects of the future developments were expected.
