Research progress on the extraction methods of flavonols in plants

  • Flavonols,as an important group of natural pigments and bioactive substances in nature,play an important role in the development of food and health care products.Understanding the latest research progress on the extraction of flavonols in plants is of great significance to the effective access of plant flavonols and to promote its application in the related research fields.In this paper,the extraction methods of plant flavonols at home and abroad in recent years were reviewed,the working mechanism, the merits and limitations of each extraction method were analyzed. And the follow-up research trend in this research field wasprospected,in order to provide theoretical basis and technical support for the isolation,extraction and application of such bioactive substances in plants.
