Application of metabolomics techniques in grape physiology

  • Grape is an important source of various metabolites that are closely related to human health. The application of metabolomics techniques in grape studies will be helpful to clarify grape's metabolic physiology and mechanism. In this paper,the application and the latest research progress of metabolomics in grape's cultivar distinction,growth and development characteristics exploration,response to various external factors and the screening of unknown metabolites were reviewed. The limitation in the research field were analysed,and the future research emphasis were discussed,in order to provide reference and basis for the study of development physiology,metabolism physiology and stress physiology in grapes.
