  • Quorum sensing(QS)is a behavior model in which bacteria rely on cell density for information transfer. In lactic acid bacteria(LAB), the formation of biofilm was regulated by QS. This article reviewed the component, the signal transduction mechanism and the regulation of QS system in biofilm formation of LAB, in order to provide new ideas for improving the stability of LAB.
