Progress in application of okadaic acid and rapid detection technology

  • The okadaic acid is the representative of the diarrhetic shellfish poisoning in Marine toxin.Currently, detection methods of okadaic acid have drawbacks that consuming time and energy, expensive equipment, being incapable of rapid detection.This paper introduces the structure, toxicity and pharmacology of okadaic acid.The author introduces rapid detection technology of okadaic acid: colloidal gold immuno chromatography, biosensor technology, chemiluminescence immunoassay, and looks forward to the future development of rapid detection method of okadaic acid.
