Advance of Moringa oleifera food as a new resource

  • Moringa oleifera is native to the northern India on the south side of the Himalayas mountain area, which is belong to the Moringa genus, the perennial tropical plant. It is rich in nutrient content, including protein, vitamins and a variety of minerals.Based on the approval by Ministry of Health for regarding Moringa leaf as a new resource food, the paper was aimed to combine its nutrition value, edible function and development of related industries to analyze present research status of Moringa leaf and development prospect of its being a new resource food.
