Advances in bio-active polysaccharides

  • Bio- active polysaccharides,connected with numerous the same or different monosaccharides by glycosidic bonds,are glycopolymers. Many common bioactivities of polysaccharides have been demonstrated in recent decades,such as immunomodulatory,antitumor,reducing glycemia,etc. The features of safety and non- toxicity in bioactive polysaccharides contribute to the broad application values and development prospects in fields of medicine,agriculture and food industry.Bioactive polysaccharide has been a hot spot in each scientific field both at home and abroad. This paper mainly aims to introduce the methods of extraction,purification,and the bioactivities of bioactive polysaccharides at home and abroad in recent5 years.
