Research progress of fluorescent molecularly imprinted nano probe in food safety and detection

  • In recent years, fluorescent nanomaterials have been widely investigated as novel marking materials in the area of analysis and detection for their unique luminescent properties. Molecularly imprinted polymer is a type of artificial bionic material with robust specific binding ability to capture target molecules. The fluorescent molecularly imprinted nano probe combine the specific binding ability of molecularly imprinted polymer with luminescent properties of fluorescent nanomaterials, and can transform the microscopic molecular recognition process into a readable fluorescent signal. It also has the advantages of high selectivity, good stability, simple preparation process, high sensitivity and strong practicability. The exploration of these probes has a positive promoting in development of analysis and detection technology. In this review, the detection principle and advantages of fluorescent molecularly imprinted nano probe are summed up.The classification of the probe and its application in food safety and detection are then emphatically introduced. Finally, the future development trends of this technique are prospected.
