Advancement of rapid detection technology for Vibrio parahaemolyticus

  • Vibrio parahaemolyticus is one of the most important foodborne pathogens,which is widely distributed in coastal waters,submarine sediment and marine life including fish,crustaceans and molluscsis.In the coastal areas of China,the food poisoning caused by V.parahaemolyticus have become primary microbial poisoning reasons.In this paper,many popular rapid detection technologies of V. parahaemolyticus,such as various PCR methods,ELISA and Biosensor techniques,were introduced based on cells,nucleic acid,protein and metabolites of V.parahaemolyticus as detection objects. These techniques were compared and the prospective development trends were prospected.
