Diosmin,a naturally occurring flavonoid compounds,which is found abundantly in various natural plants and citrus fruits.It has shown a broad range of pharmacological activities in arterial and venous systems.Recently the inhibitory effect on proliferation of tumor cell was reported extensively. Since its pro- apoptotic activity and chemical prevention effect,which was considered to be a potential anti- tumor drug.In this paper,it was reviewed the mechanisms progress of diosmin on tumor cells proliferation and apoptosis,signal pathway,anti- multidrug resistance.
