Optimization for ultrasonic-assisted extraction of Angelica dahurica starch by response surface methodology

  • The Angelica dahurica starch was extracted by ultrasonic- assisted extraction. The effects of ultrasonic power,ultrasonic extraction time and ratio of material to liquid on the yield of Angelica dahurica starch was investigated.The extraction process of Angelica dahurica starch was optimized with the response surface method based on the single factor experiments.The optimal conditions were as follows: 325 W of ultrasonic power,27 min of ultrasonic extraction time and 1∶ 6( g / m L) of ratio of material to liquid,respectively.Under the optimized conditions,the extraction yield of Angelica dahurica starch was 74.02 percent,an increase of 10.07 percent when compared with conventional extraction.Ultrasonic assisted- extraction could help to increase the extraction yield of Angelica dahurica starch.
