Development of an ions exchange device and removal of cadmium ions in squid liver

  • Cdmium ions in squid liver homogenates were removed by macroporous cation exchange resin. Squid liver was experimental material and cadmium ions adsorption efficiency was evaluation index. Research on the adsorption effects of cdmium ions,based on the resin adsorption device,which were in squid liver homogenates.The results suggested that adsorption efficiency of cadmium ions increased with adsorption time,and adsorption equilibrium time was about 210 minutes.Reducing the p H value was conducive to the proceeds of ions exchange reaction.Adsorption efficiency achieved a better state of the homogenates p H3.0. Adsorption efficiency raised when the resin amount increased.With the material- water ratio 1∶ 10 went up to 3∶ 10,the adsorption efficiency first increased and then decreased. Elevated temperatures could accelerate the rate of ions exchange reaction within the temperature range of 25 ~ 50 ℃. The adsorption efficiency of cadmium ions was 94.34% when the adsorption reached equilibrium under the resin amount of 20.0 g / L,material- water ratio of 1 ∶ 5,the p H value of 3.0,the temperature of 25 ℃.
