Study on fractionation of theabrownins in Puerh tea

  • In this paper,the adsorption and desorption properties of different macroporous resins for Puerh tea theabrownins was investigated,and AB-8 macroporous resins was selected for fraction.Two fractions,TBs P1 and TBs P2 were obtained from the separation of Puerh tea theabrownins by AB- 8 macroporous resin. With using DEAE-52 cellulose chromatography for grading TBs P1,six theabrownins fractions were obtained. The monosaccharide compositions of TBs P1,TBs P2 and four major fractions of TBs P1 were analysised. The fractions of theabrownins were different in the contents of total sugar,total phenol and protein. The monosaccharides compositions of four major fractions were similar,and different in contents.Comparing with the water soluble pigments extracting from Puerh crude tea,the compositions and content of monosaccharides were significantly different.
