Determination of Cadinium in scallops by solid sampling atomic fluorescence spectrometry

  • In this paper,a faster and more accurate method with direct solid sampling was developed for tracing level Cadmium determination in scallops sample by improving the power of ashing and adding graphite powder.Direct Cadmium AF Analyzer( Model DCD-200) based on the novel porous graphite rube( PGT) and Tungsten Coil( TC) trap was developed for trace level Cd determination in scallops sample.When the power of ashing was 120 W and the dilution ratio of graphite powder to 5 times,the recovery was 94.0% ~107% and precision( RSD < 5%).The novel apparatus avoided the tedious sample pretreatment of digestion as well as consumption of wet chemicals,and provided faster,more accurate in field metal determination.
