Research progress of antioxidant function evaluation in vitro of bioactive substances in nuts shell

  • Nuts shells as by- product of nuts are rich and contain amount of polyphenol,polysaccharide and flvonaoids.So it has important value to exploitation. Researches showed that the extraction of nuts shells has significant antioxidant function in free radical scavenging and anti- aging. They are high- qulity resources to be exploited for natural antioxidant. The aim of this paper is to discuss the important of evaluation method on the antioxidant function,the principle as well as usage in nuts shell,which will provide reference to exploitation and application of antioxidant in nuts shell.
