Glycoprotein is a kind of bioactive substance,which is constructed with oligosaccharide chains and peptides by a variety of covalent forms. Natural glycoprotein exhibits physiological activities,such as anti-oxidation,anti- tumor,and enhance immunity.The current work reviewed the research progress of the glycoprotein from marine animals,including the structure,function,preparation and purification of the glycoprotein.Furthermore,the further study of marine animal- derived glycoprotein was addressed,aimed to provide the reference for the development of the glycoprotein.
