Research progress in the pre- enrichment of rapid detection of foodborne pathogenic bacteria

  • In recent years, the food poisoning and deaths caused by food- borne pathogens have frequently occurred in the world, serious harm to human health,food- borne microorganisms have become the No.1 killer of human health. At present, the research on the technology of food- borne pathogenic bacteria detection has become a hot spot for international scholars, and the focus of the research is on rapid detection technology. However,in the rapid detection, especially molecular biology techniques,pre- enrichment process is required, how to shorten the pre- enrichment time and improve the enrichment effect is a problem to solve that in the development of rapid detection. In this paper, outbreaks of Salmonella,Staphylococcus aureus,Listeria monocytogenes,Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Shigella are discussed and focused on the status of the pre- enrichment of first four bacteria,in order to acquaintance the existing of pre- enrichment of rapid detection and achieve a shorter time to detect foodborne pathogens.
