Research progress of detecting methods for Vibrio parahaemolyticus

  • Vibrio parahaemolyticus which can cause illness like nausea,vomit,stomachache and diarrhea etc. is ubiquitous pathgenic bacteria in seafood. China is a consumption country of seafood,it is necessary to establish rapid,accurate and sensitive method monitoring Vibrio parahaemolyticus in seafood.At present,molecular biology methods and analytical chemistry methods based on cell level and molecular level include real- time PCR and MALDI- TOF MS uauslly be used to determine and quantify vibrio parahaemolyticus in seafood,which are fast,specific and sensitive.It can be used to evaluate and supervise the risk of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in seafood and ensure the safety of people's diet.
