Research progress in the application of near- infrared spectroscopy on the adulteration detection of liquid food

  • In recent years, food safety incidents have shown a tendency to increase. As one of detection methods to be capable of authenticating and classifying food products,near- infrared( NIR) spectroscopy analysis has received more concerns in public because it is a new type of analyzing technology with advantages of celerity, convenient, economic and less pollution. Development of NIR spectroscopy analysis applied in the detection of adulteration regarding milk, honey and cooking oil were reviewed in this article.Problems and development trend of NIR spectroscopy for this field were also discussed.
