Optimization of fermentation conditions for exopolysaccharide EPS- PⅡby marine bacterium Pseudoalteromonas issachenkonii

  • Objective: To optimize the fermentation conditions of exopolysaccharide EPS- P Ⅱ produced by Pseudoalteromonas issachenkonii.Method: The medium composition was determined by single factor experiment,Plackett- Burman combined with Box- Behnken was used to determine the optimum fermentation conditions.Results: The experiment showed that the fermentation medium was composed of glucose,yeast extract and baysalt,the fermentation conditions were 8.8% inoculum,170 r / min shaking speed and 33.8 h for fermentation.Conclusion: Under the optimum conditions,the yield of EPS- PⅡwas 2.62 g / L,which was increased by 116.5%.
